Level 2-Advanced Basic Manners is a semi-private group class. It is for:

Prerequisites for L2-Advanced Basic Manners

• Completing our Basic Manners course.
• An invitation from the ForceFreePets faculty.
• Additionally, you need to understand that your dog is an individual and that each dog in the class may progress at different rates. Your focus in this class is all about your dog enjoying learning new things together. It is not a competition.

Level 2-Basic Manners is unsuitable for overly reactive or aggressive dogs or those extremely fearful. Contact Don@ForceFreePets.com to learn how we can help you.

In Basic Manners – Level 2, we will help you further refine behaviors such as Walking Politely, the Recall, Leave It, and Stay, which you were introduced to in Basic Manners. This semi-private class consists of two teams of one to two students with their dogs and one instructor. Because of its small size, your instructor can customize lessons to meet the individual needs of both students. Classes may be held both indoors and outdoors in our upstairs training room. Each session is approximately 45 minutes long and will meet at the same time and day for four weeks. The cost of Basic Manners-Level 2 is $125. If you and your dog feel you would still benefit from more work with an instructor, you may enroll in Level 2-Basic Manners as many times as you wish.

We offer several classes at different starting dates and times. However, once you have started a class, you cannot switch to a different date or time. If the date and time you prefer is filled, you can add your name to a waiting list but be advised it is very rare for someone to withdraw from a class. Therefore, your best strategy may be to enroll in your second choice of date and time.

There are no handouts for your class. So instead, we will reference the copy of Best Friends for Life you were given in Basic Manners.

Please understand that class postponement due to public health situations is a possibility. We may also find limiting attendance to one student per dog necessary. We may also reschedule a class due to weather or instructor availability.
